Spend around $3000 annually at Macys. Unfortunately a very negative experience with a manger of men's wear when trying to return a suit my wife got me that was too small. Managers name was Josh (2:30-2:45pm 8/28/17 who treated this situation like the Spanish Inquisition and communicated to me with flee market terminology. Hope people like that don't represent the brand. Another bad experience and I find another retailer.

It's ok. They don't carry all the same make up selections as the Macy's downtown. The home selection was decent but not as much as I expected. I guess I am just spoiled by the Macy's in the city.

My wife and I purchased a dress online for our daughter for Halloween. We were told that we'd be texted when the order was ready. We didn't hear back and I had to call. It took me twenty minutes to get a hold of a real person and when I did, he claimed that due to privacy laws, he couldn't talk to me about the order. Never mind I am a privacy attorney and his assertion was incorrect. My wife ended up having to call and it took her as long to get a hold of anyone and then had no resolution. I know the staff at Macy's are well intentioned but our experience at the store is no better than our online order experience. We ended up ordering from Amazon. It's absolutely no wonder why the brick and mortar retail experience had gone down the toilet. It was a silly idea to think ordering online would have resulted in anything but a disaster. Avoid online ordering and make sure your expectations are low when shopping in the store. They aren't adequately staffed and you'll get little, if any, help. I remember a time when going to Macy's was a positive experience. Just a sign of the times....
